This was my first Club Med Experience! Came along with Ace Travel Pros on and epic tennis adventure in a beautiful setting! Not knowing what to expect I was quite surprised by all the hard working and enthusiastic GO's and employees that welcome you and make your stay that much more personable! The beach and pool were great for a relaxing afternoon before meeting up with Jorge at the courts for some afternoon tennis! He was fantastic, mixing up the games and keeping players engaged! The evening entertainment stole my heart as Daniel (Katia, and crew enthusiastically rallied the crowed before the evening show! Katia always had the answers to my questions with warm smile. Dante, Joy and Alain were always there to make our after tennis drinks and coffees! Afternoons were filled with fish tacos at the Miramar with Itzel. Nathan from Food and Beverage, Greg sommelier, Franco were also great recourses. Africa was so helpful at the the spa and my massage by xhrisa was the best sports massage I have ever had! I still feel amazing days after! One mention to Santos! What a beautiful lady, I don't speak very good spanish but every evening as she cleaned the restrooms with would chat a bit! So nice, so sweet! Meeting the GO's and crew of all the employees I met made and impact and made for a great stay! Thank you Club Med!

A little known gem on the Pacific
This was our third stay at this location. We have been to many different Club Meds but this is our favorite and we plan to return.
No complaints about the weather since we never got any rain during our stays.
The site is exceptional, offering gorgeous sunsets and the long beach is clean and uncluttered. Food and drinks are varied featuring many local dishes. The GOs and local staff are helpful. Daniel the new chief of the village is never very far.
Buildings are relatively old but very well kept. Although the rooms could use some updating, they are always clean and offer ocean views.

Had an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience at this Club Med
What a fabulous experience I had at Club Med Ixtapa, Pacific! I stayed for a week with a group of friends and had an amazing time. The weather in February was such a beautiful retreat from the normally cold weather of my home. The beach was long and pristine. It was fun to see all the native wild life like hermit crabs, iguanas, chachalacas, whales, and other creatures not native to my home environment.
I went snorkeling on Ixtapa Island through a package offered by the Excursions Office, which was very reasonably priced, and saw some beautiful fish, sea urchins, and coral, then had a free included drink and appetizer at Lily Cipriani's, one of the many restaurants on the island. Our guide made it easy to snorkel and order food, and we were allowed to stay all day until we asked for the boat taxi back to the mainland.
I also spent a lot of time with the circus team, lead by the incomparable Chucho, learning tricks on the trapeze. It was so fun and the team (Holly, Pablo, Chucho, Edgard, and Ceci) were all incredibly kind and respectful and also all talented circus artists themselves. I was invited to be part of the trapeze show for the special Thursday night Dinner Under the Stars event, to show my trick, and it was so exciting to be part of a trapeze show! A once in a lifetime opportunity for sure.
The entire staff at this Club Med were courteous, kind, helpful, and fun. I had fun dancing with the GOs and learning the Crazy Signs dance routines each night. The food and drink was always incredible, with so many different offerings every day, I felt very spoiled!
This Club Med is slightly smaller than Cancun, which is a good thing. All the activities are relatively close together: tennis, boating, archery, trapeze, soccer, pool, and beach. It's a great place to bring a family and I'm already starting to plan my trip back with my family, hopefully later this year.
This place is well worth a trip!

Amazing vacations
We came to take a break from the cold of home. This club med offers the perfect weather and activities for all the family, with a lot of food options and delicious desserts. Our room was close to everything and the staff was very nice, especially Gerardo, he organized the ping pong tournament and played with me when nobody showed up to participate.

Great quiet resort
Nice resort, very dated, could use a makeover. I am traveling with my daughter, we requested separate beds and they gave us two single beds, not ideal but works. The staff are what makes this a 4 star resort. They could not be better. In particular the aquatic sports staff, they actually got me dancing. Franco, Palo and Ara have been amazing. We had dinner with Franco one night and played cards with him most nights. I took a sailing lesson with Franco and have been quite comfortable sailing the catamaran. I joined in on the kayak island tour, had so much fun, kayaked back to the resort in a 2 seated kayak with the amazing Ara. Pablo was quick to help us get the catamaran in the water and provided some helpful tips. I am a fairly strong and sturdy person, but Ara who is half my size, aways insisted on bringing the kayak to and from the water for me. The staff made our trip so much fun, The shows are a must see, the food is very good, the property is clean and well kept. We spent most of our time at the beach, and in the water. The beach is beautiful, we saw some dolphins and even saw a whale.
