Much fun!
Had an amazing time at Club Med Turquoise. The beach is beautiful, loved the yoga lessons inches from the water.
Jesus in the housekeeping team was great, super helpful. Alfredo of maintenance too. Wyatt the bartender makes the best drinks! Valeria and Manuel in the kitchen are the best!
I recommend asking for Antonio for a massage.
The circus team members, particularly Jacob, are so impressive and welcoming! Highly recommend!

Always a favorite
Nothing compares to the water at this Club! I've been here over 6 times... beginning in the 1970's! A wonderful relaxing place with water sports, good parties plenty of food and nice folks. It seems the clientele stays relatively the same...meaning as I age, the group keeps up with my era. But lots of younger folks also attend, including families. It's a great trip!

Not as good as it used to be
It was a family vacation and the whole family had a fabulous time. That been said, we were there twice before, pre Covid, the resort in general was in better shape, paint, chairs in pool. TheOG’s , I hate to say it , better fit, the trapeze guys looked like hobos, long hair is okay but not like this. But they were nice and helpful . I miss the traditional music they play every day was missing. Don’t buy the transport, we paid 80$ per person, 40$ each way, expecting they would be there when we landed, okay if you get there before 5, my granddaughter plane landed a little bit after 5, they were gone and she was somehow expected to take a taxi , reimbursed by club med, how would she know that, no welcoming drink when we arrived, like in the past. Also, we realized we could get transportation to the airport for 25 $, what! When I complained, I was told it was because I had pre order,??? Usually, it is cheaper when planned. Overall, they need to pay attention to the details , appearance of their staff. I would hesitate to go back but mostly because getting there is not easy.

Outstanding Sailing Team
I am an advanced sailor and have been coming to Turks for over 20 years. I come specifically to sail the Hobie Getaway catamarans. I have seen many sailing managers and sailing teams over the years and the current group is exceptionally strong.
It all starts with the sailing manager Rafael, who is clearly the right person for this job. His friendly manner, vast experience, and management skills make him uniquely suited for this position. His professionalism and knowledge shine through on many levels.
Every morning at 930 am the rescue boat was in place, and all boats were rigged and ready to go. On most days of our 3 week stay, everything was ready a half hour early. This is in marked contrast to many of our prior sailing vacations here.
If something on a boat was broken, Rafael would fix it immediately to get it back on the water. This was especially important for the Getaways as these boats were in high demand. He has a large reservoir of knowledge related to how to fix and repair boats. He efficiently manages his budget and improvises when necessary to find a working solution for boat problems.
He was constantly roaming the sailing area to manage and teach his team proper techniques for safely launching and receiving boats coming in to shore. This was critical in wavy conditions to prevent accidents harmful to guests and equipment.
The lessons and sailing lists were managed accurately and efficiently. This was helpful to GM's and avoided possible conflicts between guests waiting for a boat.
Complimenting Rafael was his excellent team of Luic, Nathan, Eric, and William. This is a friendly and hard working group of guys who always had a smile and happy greeting for sailors when they approached the sailing area. When returning to the beach after a sailing session, these watchful GO's would run to the beach to safely receive and control boats as they were beached. Again this was especially helpful when waves were breaking on the sand at arrival.
Another "unofficial" member of this team was Sofie, the sports manager. She was often there at sailing to help Rafael with inventory problems and to offer any other support that she could. One day, Rafael was short team members due to vacations and sickness issues. At the end of the day, there was Sofie helping to pull boats up the beach, de-rigging sails, and carrying Kayak paddles back to the sailing shack. She is a bundle of energy, and I have never witnessed this extra effort by a sports manager in all my years of coming to club med.
If you are a sailor, or want to learn to sail, come on down and meet this outstanding team of GO's. You won't be disappointed. I will be back for sure!

Best vacation ever - will be returning!
This was hands down my favorite vacation I've been on so far. Everything was perfect from the shuttle to the resort, to getting our rooms, excursions, food, & drinks. My family had such a good time, that we are planning on returning every year for the holidays.
Joshua in the excursion office was super helpful! He told us about all the different excursions, and we settled with the iguana island trip. It did not disappoint! My family also chatted with David in the scuba office - he was very knowledgeable! Everyone that works here is over the top friendly - and more than happy to answer any questions!
We did deal with bad weather when we were there. But, because everything else was so stellar, it didn't even ruin our trip!
Thanks again Club Med, & See you next year!
