Great Stay!
A good location to stay if you do not want to have the hassle to think on what you will want to eat after your skiing or snowboarding trip. The lessons are great as they are able to speak in English. Just one thing, the pillows are way too soft for our preference. That affect our sleep.

Unforgettable Winter Escape at Club Med Sahoro!
Just back from Club Med Sahoro, and I’m already planning my return! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed like family—Hazel, Maggie, and Pauline made every moment fun, from casual chats to wild nights at the bar.
The rooms may be a bit old, but they were clean, comfy, and warm—perfect after a long day on the slopes. And speaking of the slopes, shoutout to Liam A and Charlie N, my incredible snowboarding instructors! It was my first time, but thanks to them, I’m officially addicted. They were patient, fun, and made sure I had the best experience possible.
And oh, the nights? Let’s just say I drank myself silly because the GO team knows how to have a good time! The energy, the laughter, the unforgettable moments—it was all magic.
Club Med Sahoro isn’t just about skiing; it’s about the people, the memories, and the sheer joy of being there. I came for the snow, stayed for the people, and left with a heart full of incredible experiences. Can’t wait to be back!

As usual, Club Med Sahoro doesn't disappoint!
One of the highlights was Gabriel, the ski instructor from Chile. Very knowledgeable and fun to ski with in Class 5.
Big thanks also to Aina (ski director), Stefan (deputy ski director), Craig (ski instructor), and Nicolas & Liliane from Ski Rental.
And Dogan, the restaurant manager.

Club Med Experience is Outstanding 👏
This resort is hands down the best I’ve ever been to. The service is top-tier, and the staff are all super nice and friendly. Everything is within a short walking distance, and the layout makes it easy to get around.
The ski instructors are amazing they give great feedback and really help you improve. They are super friendly. Jock, Trixie, Ally and Manuel stood out the most to me. Every time they saw me, they’d say hi, which was really nice and welcoming. Jock was super friendly and gave some of the best skiing advice. Jock helped me from doing wedge turns and gave me outstanding advice which lead me to start to do better turns and even some parallel. We would always talk about football (especially liverpool and Tottenham) and other cool things. He was a very chill guy overall with good spirit. Manuel was always really nice to me and he would give great ski tips. His jokes were also really funny and he had a very nice positive spirit. Especially during drills while skiing manuel would add a joke into them to make the drills more understandable and fun. When he wanted me to keep my hands on my knees he would pretend to squirt super glue onto my hands and then stick my hands onto my knees. Ally was very friendly and made very good sandwiches. We had good talks about football and other stuff. He was in general a really nice person and we shared some common interests in football. Such as how virgil van dijk is a great defender and how he used to play for celtic. Trixie also was super nice and said hi to me when we walked past each other. While skiing when I fell down in the off piste she waited very patiently for me even when it took me almost 5 minutes to put my skis on. She didn't pressure me or say anything about me falling down. She was super nice and didnt make me feel bad about myself. I really appreciated that Trixie did that.
Another shoutout to Jayden, the bartender he made the best drinks, he made you anything you wanted. He was always great to talk with and was SUPER friendly and cheerful. The snow is also just amazing. The snow is just pure powder and the skiing is never icy. Its amazing skiing conditions and the slopes are very fun also. You can go skiing for hours without getting bored. The weather condtions are pristine, sunny most days with outstanding views with snow everywhere. Sometimes it would snow so much that the next day of skiing would just be pure powder and absolute fun, even though I did find powder challenging at times because I would fall and it would be hard to put the skis on. Everynight they have very enterating shows and they would always switch it up, some nights it would be a talent show, kids show, dancing, singing, live bands, etc.
Overall, the service is outstanding at club med sohoro and I really loved the trip. Thanks to everyone who made it really great!

Team Sahoro makes it special!
This was our first trip to Club Med Sahoro after going to Club Med Tomamu a few times previously. We really enjoyed the smaller and more intimate atmosphere at Sahoro and once again the GOs and entire team is what makes the experience so unique and brings us back each year!
We were there with our four kids (aged 13 to 5) and each of them had an unforgettable experience and none of us wanted to leave the fresh powder and new friends we had made during our stay.
The wall to wall fun from the slopes to the theatre and in between is the Club Med secret sauce and the way every GO goes that little extra makes a huge difference.
We’re still in touch with one of our ski instructors from our first family Club Med trip in 2018 and I’m sure we’ll cross paths with a few of the new friends we made on this trip!
As much as we loved the snow and being in Japan, it really is the dedicated and talented team at Club Med that we talk about with the kids for weeks and years to come! I know its a long list but we wanted to give shout-outs to everyone who made this CNY 2025 trip so memorable!
Tom / Ribka - High energy, fantastic GMs and leaders, I’ll even forgive Tom for being a Real Madrid supporter and Ribka really brings it each night as the MC with her singing, dancing and all around party vibes!
Stefan - We got to know Stefan on our last trip to Tomamu and once again he was hugely helpful organizing all of our ski and snowboard needs across 6 people. Stefan is also clearly a leader and well organized and the chaos never seems to rattle him!
James - Taught Valerie how to ski for 2 days after she decided to switch from the snowboard! Great lad, super personable and extremely good instructor.
Figo - Spent an incredible day with Figo in the powder in the trees and also a memorable trek out of the trees after veering off course! Amazingly talented teacher and a marvel to watch carve on the board.
Manuel & Jock - Both were Jack’s ski instructors and really helped him get his confidence back after 2 years away from skiing. Just great guys and always willing to answer any and all questions Jack had (and he had a LOT of questions)!
Anya - Made everything better for our daughters Grace and Sage. Extremely personable and incredible with kids! Sage is still talking about Anya and
misses her dearly!
Lauren / Silky - Both were fantastic ski instructors for Grace on all levels and made whole week super special for Grace and her friend Ella.
Dan G / Kobe - Great guys and Luke’s snowboard coaches. Luke was inspired to work hard and looked up to both, thanks for putting up with his cheeky / annoying attitude!!
Dan C - Amazingly organized to get all those kids ready and out on the mountain each morning! He was fantastic and made it so much easier for Valerie and I to enjoy more time on the mountain knowing Dan had it all under control. We really enjoyed that Dan could join Grace and Ella’s dinner one night where they were very specific about the guest list, well done making the cut!
Aina / Alex - Super helpful all week working with us to fit us and the kids into the right class or private lesson. Super professional and just great people!
Rob / Tasmin / Nicholas - All great guys and helped us all week swapping equipment and from snowboards to skis for Valerie. Had a great dinner with Rob as well as he made the cut for the girls guest list!!
Andrea - Was incredible with the girls and helping them choreograph their dance routines, awesome energy and very good with all the kids and parents!
Cameron - He joined us for dinner one night and was a really funny and interesting guy. I also happened to watch some of his ski instructions while I was strapping into my snowboard and I was impressed with his teaching skills, I could tell cared and wanted to make his students better.
Trevor - Good lad who also joined us for dinner one night.
Kyle - Super good with the kids and equally talented Gungnam style
performances, might be better than the original!!
I know its a long list of shoutouts and thank yous but we’re so grateful for all your help and support!!
Thank you and good luck for the rest of the season!
Geoff & Valerie Stockwell
