Great family all-inclusive resort with best beaches in Cancun
Celebrated family members milestone birthday. Had a great time with activities for the young, middle and senior ages. The location of the property provided best beach access in the entire Cancun region. Special thanks to Claudia for her superior service on property!

Delightful stay
Our first visit to Cancun and 2nd holiday with Clubmed. Our room was very spacious and quiet with plenty of storage. Weather didn't disappoint with lovely warm days, a little rain and one amazing thunder storm. Food could be a little hit or miss but there was plenty of choice and lots of fresh fruit and salad. Mexican night was my least favourite and 'white' evening the best with foie gras and beef wellington and lots of fresh fish. Of course lots of different breads and desserts. We tried the bookable restaurants, the steak one was dull and Taco Art was good. We loved the bar at Taco Art, great watching the sailing and paddle boarders. Tried the snorkeling but it was a windy rough day and access via steep steps with no handrail made it very difficult if you are a little unsteady. Some investment in the snorkeling area access would be good. The main beach was delightful always plenty of loungers spare and never too busy. We did one excusion to Chichen Itza which was great. My hunsband did scuba diving on 3 mornings which he thoroughly enjoyed. Didn't use the spa as far too expensive. All in all we had a wonderful stay,

A nice all-inclusive resort that included sailing
Many resorts just list "non-motorized water sports" and you don't any idea if that includes sailing, but Club Med has a sailing program and a number of sailboats available. That was a key choice, though the overall vacation was good, with good weather, numerous activities, a great location, and good food.

Some highlights, some negatives
This was my first time visiting a ClubMed. We were traveling with an extended family of 15. 6 adults and 7 kids ages ranging from 4-17.
The variety of activities were wonderful. The instructors of the fitness classes were full of personality and energy. I need to give a special shout out to the step class instructor. She was so fun, and made me want to keep coming back to the class! Alejandro, the bartender at the Taco Arte bar was a highlight of every evening. We loved getting to know him, and you could tell that he put extra care into making the drinks- even for the kids! The kids loved the water slides, and the park. They also loved the archery, and the instructor there was also very nice. The trapeze was very fun, and way outside of everyone’s comfort zone. Although, some of the instructors were more patient and kind than others. Some of them appeared clearly frustrated when people didn’t know what to do or couldn’t under them due to the language barrier. We loved Youyou! His energy was contagious! We had the opportunity to chat with him on a few occasions, and we could tell that he sincerely cares about his guests.
While most of our experience was positive, there were a few negatives that really stood out to us, and kind of left us with a poor taste in our mouths about the experience.
- There was one lifeguard who was very mean. He would yell at kids and adults alike for “breaking the rules.” He would blow his whistle, recite the rules, and yell “strike one!” This was scary for the kids, who often times didn’t even know what they did wrong. He even yelled at my adult brother one time after he entered the pool making a little splash. We actively tried to avoid the pools that this lifeguard was at. We understand enforcing the rules, but he definitely could
be kinder about his delivery.
Also, on our day of checkout, my husband went to close out our account, and
discovered that 2 drinks of Jack Daniel’s had been charged to our account from the high end bar on the resort. My husband and ai did not even set foot in that bar during our stay. We told the reception that this had to be a mistake, and they were unwilling to reverse it. They called the bar and found that someone had given our room number and signed the receipt using my husband’s
initials!! This really freaked us out. After much discussion, they still forced me to sign the receipt, even though we DID NOT purchase drinks we were being charged for. So, please use caution if you are going to put your credit card on file. We will likely never do that again, because ClubMed would not stand behind it. I have no idea how this person got our information or if the bar was not careful, but it definitely did not make us feel safe. Thank goodness it was only a small purchase. It would have been much worse if it had been a large purchase and we would have been out all that money due to ClubMed not protecting our information.
All in all it was a great trip, and the kindness of staff like Alejandro, the step instructor,
and Youyou will be what we look back on with fondness when we remember our trip.

Allez Cancún, Allez Allez!!!!!
We were looking for bliss and zen and it’s the experience we had! The exclusive area (Jade) was ticking all the cases, quietness, very beautiful and comfortable suite with wonderful view on the sea. Thank you to the staff at the swimming pool. We were very pleased to see people we saw more than a year ago (Daniel, Jesus). Thank you to Leonel and Cristel, very professional and nice. The buffet of the “White Night” was delicious. The shows were very entertaining. Gym was great (thank you Nelson). The Club atmosphere was energetic every evening. It’s really nice to see people from different ages, countries dancing all together. It’s the eternal charm of the Club. Many thanks for a very relaxing week!
